Escuela de Otoño de Traducción Literaria – 3rd edition

The Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas “Juan Ramón Fernández” together with the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters (AATI) will be holding the third Literary Translation Autumn School with author in residence Giles Foden in Buenos Aires. This programme, which includes an English > Spanish translation and a creative writing workshop, talks and panel discussions with authors, translators and editors at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, as well as research visits to Buenos Aires sites, is part of the AHRC Open World Research Initiative (OWRI) research project ‘Cross-Language Dynamics: Reshaping Communities’ (Translingual Strand).
This edition will include the visit of Professor Catherine Davies as research strand leader and of Cecilia Rossi as researcher and creative writing workshop leader.
This tuition-free programme is addressed to novel English>Spanish translators with a special interest in literary translation.
